Golfers in the Swaffham area are being encouraged to sign up now for the town Rotary Club’s annual charity golf day this summer.

Now in its third year, the event has raised thousands of pounds for good causes including the Rotary movement’s End Polio Now campaign, the Norfolk and Norwich Association for the Blind and the Swaffham and Litcham Home Hospice.

This year’s golf day, which is taking place at the Swaffham Golf Club on July 6, is supporting the East Anglian Children’s Hospices (EACH) and organisers are encouraging would-be participants to sign up now.

Proceeds for the charity are raised through entry fees, a grand raffle and auction, plus the support of event sponsors.

For more information about the event, contact Denis Bishop on 01760 721115 or the golf club on 01760 721621.
