The first batch of models which will form part of a new Tornado trail around Lynn have arrived at the headquarters of the town’s Air Cadets.

Members of the 42F Squadron are pictured above with their commanding officer, Flt Lt Pauline Petch, showing off some of the 10 models that have so far been delivered to the group’s base in Loke Road.

Twelve decorated models of the planes will be positioned around the town throughout the summer, as part of celebrations marking the centenary of RAF Marham. The remaining models are expected to be completed in the next few days. The trail is expected to be launched in late May and continue throughout the summer. It follows last summer’s Spitfire trail.

Any businesses who are interested in sponsoring the project should contact Flt Lt Petch on 01553 842149.
