NORFOLK Green has named one of its buses in memory of brain tumour victim Lisa Wiles and the charity she helped set up to boost research.
The naming ceremony, attended by her son Zach, daughter Shannen, parents Mervyn and Rosalie Wiles and trustees of the Lisa Wiles Red Wellies Brain Tumour Support Fund, took place at Lynn bus station on Wednesday.
Lisa, 43, from Blackborough End, died on October 13 last year after fighting against an aggressive tumour in her brain, supported by her partner, Simon Johnson, who was unable to attend the ceremony.
Norfolk Green commercial manager Rob Bennett said the company decided to dedicate the bus to Lisa and the charity after reading about her cancer battle in the Lynn News.
Shannen and Zach said they were proud their mother’s name and her charity work would live on in this way.
