SOUTH LYNN: Boy, 5, injured in car collision

A five-year-old boy was injured when he was involved in a collision with a car in South Lynn on Thursday afternoon.

Emergency crews were called to Saddlebow Road following the incident, which happened at around 3.15pm.

The boy had minor facial injuries and was taken to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital by paramedics, a spokesman for the East of England Ambulance Service said.

An air ambulance was also called to the scene.
