UPDATE: Mundford: Serious collision involving three cars

THE Air Ambulance was called out to an accident involving three cars in Mundford earlier this morning.

One person was taken to Lynn’s Queen Elizabeth Hospital in a critical condition with head, leg and chest injuries.

Fire crews from Methwold and Brandon in Suffolk were called to cut two people out of vehicles involved.

The accident happened around 7am on the A1065 Swaffham Road between the A134 and B1107 Thetford Road junctions.

The road was closed in both directions for four hours.
