Police investigating a recent spate of shed burglaries in Lynn have arrested two men.

A 19-year-old and a 30-year-old man, both from the Lynn area, were arrested by officers last night. They both remain in police custody at this time.

Chief Inspector Terry Lordan said: “There have been a number of reports of shed break-ins across Kings Lynn in recent weeks therefore it is important local residents continue to remain vigilant and take appropriate security measures.

“I would strongly urge anyone leaving any items of value in sheds or garages to get their property marked, whether it’s electronically or through DNA technology, which involves microdots with unique reference numbers which link to your house and can be detected using a UV light.”
