A pedestrian sustained head injuries in a collision with a car on the A47 at East Winch yesterday evening.
Emergency crews were called to the area shortly after 6pm on Monday following the incident.
One eyewitness reported seeing a person on the pavement next to the eastbound lane of the road being attended to by members of the public before emergency crews arrived.
Police said the man was taken to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Lynn, though his injuries were not believed to be serious.
The road was partially blocked for more than an hour and police were called to direct traffic around the scene.
The incident was the second to have happened on the A47 in West Norfolk on Monday, after two people suffered minor injuries in a collision at the Pullover roundabout on the edge of Lynn.
That crash blocked the westbound carriageway for around 90 minutes, causing traffic jams of up to three miles on the approach.
