Local historian Paul Richards launched his new book, King’s Lynn History Tour, at Lynn Town Hall on Wednesday evening at a reception hosted by the borough mayor, David Whitby.
Some 50 people attended and heard Mr Richards say that the town had “an exceptional history and we have a duty to promote it”. The book has historical pictures of 48 town landmarks and shows a walk that can be taken to look how time has changed them. He described the book as “a Lego walk” in that it can be taken apart and put back together again. “There is tons and tons of stuff yet to be discovered,” he said.
