Visit of Guards to Lynn marks St David’s Day

Bridge for Heroes marked St David’s Day with a visit from the 1st Queen’s Dragoon Guards (Welsh Cavalry) to their Clough Lane base.

Soldiers from Swanton Morley came accompanied with Coyote and Jackal armoured fighting vehicles before a visit from their commanding officer and West Norfolk Mayor Colin Manning.

Mike Taylor, chief executive and founder of Bridge for Heroes said: “The day went really well. Despite the wet weather a lot of people came to see the guards and the guys were brilliant.”
