Cute outfits, waggy tails and the best six legs were all part of the fun of the first-ever Hillington Square Dog Show.
A husky, Labrador, along with terriers of all shapes and sizes, were among the 16 dogs which took to the ring outside the Olive Branch cafe in Lynn on Friday.
Freebridge Community Housing put on the show, which was supported by Millhouse Vets.
Community organiser Ruth Taylor was pleased with the level of interest. She said: “This event is about fun, it is not a serious dog show.
“An animal behaviourist has also been talking to owners about their dogs.”
Matthew Pennington was pleased with his dog Sweep, who won the best six legs category with Megan Maynard.
Mr Pennington, of Hillington Square, said: “I think his character made him stand out.”
While the judges were impressed by the large waggy tail owned by Bruno the Akita Ridgeback cross.
His owner Alison Simpson, of Tilney St Lawrence, said: “His tail didn’t stop wagging due to the puppy standing next to us.
“This is a good way to socialise the dogs and enjoyable for the owners.”
