Sedgeford post office has reopened at the village hall following the closure of the outlet in June 2013.
It has been reopened at the hall in Jarvie Close every Tuesday from next week.
It is being run as an outreach service by the postmaster from East Rudham post office.
The first session was this Wednesday but from enxt week it will be on a Tuesday between 10am and noon.
A statement from Post Office Ltd said: “The reopening, with reduced hours, presents compared with the previous hosted outreach service, provides the best possible solution to allow us to provide a Post Office in the longerterm.”
The Post Office is now inviting customers and interested parties to give their comments on the reopening in a six-week public consultation.
Although the period of public consultation goes on until May 25, the service will will continue unaffected.
