Members of the West Norfolk branch of the National Autistic Society turned a Lynn supermarket pink and purple on Friday to help raise funds for their cause.
The group, pictured above, donned pink and purple wigs for a collection at the Sainsbury’s Hardwick store.
A total of £328.02 was raised during the day and organiser Claire Clarke said the money would be used to help fund activities and workshops across the borough.
She said: “I am delighted that so many members joined in the fun but most importantly we made contact with those in the area who have just received diagnosis for their child or grandchild and they wanted advice and to become members of our group.
“We were also approached for a chat by some adults with autism who wanted to share their story or ideas.
“We thank everyone who made a donation.”
