A charity’s work to support people living with cancer in West Norfolk has been boosted by donations from a community group based near Downham.

Members of the St Winnolds Lodge, which meets at the Masonic Hall at Ryston End, have given £801 each to the Macmillan Cancer Support groups based in Downham and Lynn.

The cheques were presented by the lodge’s worshipful master John Rayner, pictured above left, and charity steward Richard Stock, right.

Accepting the cheques on behalf of Macmillan are, from left, Angela Sadler and Susan Sampson, representing the Downham branch, and Lynn branch chairman Howard Moore.
