People of all ages will be running and rowing to raise money for Sports Relief later this week.
Runners will be able to take on the challenge of the Sports Relief Mile on Sunday at the Jubilee Field in Downham at 10am and Swaffham Rugby Club, North Pickenham Road, from noon.
Supporters will be able to tackle one mile, three mile or six mile courses for the charity in Lynnsport on Sunday, between 9am and 3pm.
Residents and staff at Goodwins Hall Care Home, in Goodwins Road, Lynn, will be clocking up a total 12 hours on a treadmill or static bike to raise funds today. Participants will be putting in 20 minute stints on the equipment.
Staff at the Sainsbury’s store in the Hardwick will be completing a rowathon from 11am. They will also be taking part in a national “flash mob” dance to the sporty version of the Black Lace Superman song.
The store is also backing a bingo night at the Lynn Royal British Legion, in Tower Street tomorrow. Doors open at 7pm.
Pupils and teachers in Terrington St Clement High School will be cooking up a storm in their Great Sport Relief bake-off.
