Hundreds of people across West Norfolk fell silent to pay their respects on Remembrance Sunday.
Services were held at Tower Gardens, Downham, Gaywood, Hunstanton and Fakenham.
In Lynn, a procession of veterans, civic dignitaries and community organisations made their way from the Saturday Market Place to the war memorial for a poignant outdoor service.
The biggest crowd in recent memory packed Fakenham’s market square to pay its respects.
The parade into the town centre along Norwich Street was led by the Town Band for the brief service.
Lieutenant Colonel Bradley Downs and Senior Master Sergeant Montgomery DeCarlo from the USAF 67th Special Operations Squadron joined the Mayor of Hunstanton in their annual procession.
Led by the chairman of the Hunstanton branch of the Royal British Legion, Roy Evans, members of the community, organisations and representatives of all the local services formed a procession that made its way around the town, reaching the town’s War Memorial.
