Tourism group Discover West Norfolk is staging its first trade event to promote themselves to as many tourism staff as possible.

From tomorrow through to Sunday, April 26, members of the group are inviting people who provide accommodation and front line staff to visit members’ businesses free of charge.

Those taking part include a variety of businesses across West Norfolk, ranging from attractions through to pubs, with offers such as free entry, guided walks and discounted meals.

Chairman of Discover West Norfolk Trevor Walters said: “This trade event will give our customers a chance to experience for free all that is great about West Norfolk and then pass this information onto their guests.”

Those who are taking part include Bircham Windmill, Sandringham Estate, Paint Me Ceramics at Hunstanton, Snettisham Park, Langham Glass at Fakenham, Holkham Hall and Pensthorpe Natural Park.

A full list of Discover West Norfolk members can be found on their website www.discoverwestnorfolk.org.uk

The group was founded in 1984 and was originally known as HAPPI (Hunstanton Area Publicity, Promotion and Information) covering only the Hunstanton area. Over the years the membership has gradually grown and now includes several members from outside the Hunstanton area.
