Forty KS2 (Year 3-6) students from Whitefriars Church of England Primary Academy took to the stage to perform YE-HA – a Wild West musical full of great songs, jokes, cowboys, Indians, and a gang of no-good outlaws last month.

The show was performed to parents, overnors and friends of the school, while West Norfolk Mayor and Mayoress Colin and Julie Manning were special guests at one of the evening performances.

The show was produced by teachers Mrs Sarah Spooner and Mrs Alex Rasberry who were both really proud of what the children achieved.

Following the shows, there were a number of positive comments by members of the audience on how well the children sang and acted, impressed by their American accents.

The students, who had been rehearsing for more than seven months, are pictured above in their Wild West costumes before one of the performances at their two-day March production.
