Rosemary Durrant took her extraodinary fundraising exploits a step closer to the £1 million mark (formerly for the Michelle Sherwood Fund) after an open garden event at her home in Chapel Lane, Wimbotsham.

Mrs Durrant has been raising money since the untimely death of her daughter Michelle Sherwood, who was a nurse and died aged 25, some 23 years ago.

A £400 presentation was made by Rosemary to the Macmillan Centre at Lynn’s Queen Elizabeth Hospital.
