Ten double glazed windows were smashed by vandals on a South Lynn building site last week.

The damage happened at a site on Wisbech Road sometime between 6pm last Thursday, May 8, and 8am the following day.

PC Tom Metcalfe, of Lynn police, said: “The damage caused here was not only costly to the owner of the site but could have caused serious harm to those involved. Building sites are dangerous places with heavy machinery and equipment which if used incorrectly could cause someone a serious injury.”

Anyone who witnessed the incident should contact PC Metcalfe on the non-emergency 101 number.
