Woman bailed over alleged assault in King’s Lynn car park

A woman has been arrested and bailed after a man was attacked in a car park close to a Lynn supermarket.

Police say the victim, a man in his 40s, suffered facial injuries in the incident, which happened close to the Sainsburys store in the town’s Vancouver Quarter on Thursday evening.

The attack happened in the lower floor of the car park at the back of the store, off Old Sunway, between 7.35 and 7.55pm.

A 44-year-old woman woman was arrested in connection with the incident and later released on bail until January 7, pending further inquiries.
