Woman taken to hospital after attack in Hunstanton cemetery

A woman in her 40s was in need of hospital treatment after she was assaulted in a cemetery in Hunstanton last week.

Police are appealing for information after the attack, which happened while the victim was walking though the cemetery on Alexander Road at around 9.45pm on Saturday, February 18.

She was hit across the face causing her to fall to the floor.

She then saw someone walk away but there are no further details of the suspect.

Nothing was stolen from the victim, who needed hospital treatment after sustaining facial injuries.
