Ian Gutteridge (Letters, April 1) fails to give a fair patient view of the proposed move of St James Surgery to Kilhams Way – the other side of the town.
He mentions patient surveys. We, and some elderly neighbours (in our 80s), in West Lynn report that no such survey was seen during our visits this year. It would be useful to know the number of respondents out of the large patient list.
Surely the practice serves the huge area south of Lynn, including West Lynn and Clenchwarton. There is no mention of Nar Ouse Way which is a desert of empty land owned by the council and is an ideal place for this necessary move. Kilhams Way is completely the wrong place for the people of South and West Lynn. We need to learn more and I would have thought our local councillors would have some thoughts on the plan.
