The King’s Lynn Talking Newspaper Association who prepare a weekly memory stick Vision Link, for the Blind and Partially Sighted in West Norfolk, using articles from the Lynn News, is short of some readers to complete its rotas for 2015.

The commitment is to be part of a team of four who read articles (about once every six weeks) for an hour starting at 7pm on a Monday evening at the NNAB, Bergen Way, North Lynn.

We are also short of administrators to clean the returned memory sticks and prepare address labels for the next week’s delivery. This task can be completed on a Monday morning.

Although we are covered for controllers who are in charge of the recording we would appreciate some extra help by having cover for this key role for holidays and illness.

If you can help in anyway please contact David Gifford 01553 631579 or Keith Leedell 01553 810848.

With the closure of the Talking Newspapers in Downham and Hunstanton, Vision Link is now the voice for Blind and Partially sighted people for all West Norfolk.

The move to memory sticks and supplying listeners with “Boom Boxes” two years ago has been really appreciated. Our listeners really appreciate the clarity that the memory sticks give compared to the old tapes.

David Gifford,

Chairman, Vision Link
