Have your say

Following my dear Uncle’s death this week from oesophageal cancer, may we thoroughly endorse the seamless care both he and his family received locally from our wonderful NHS.

Alan had learning difficulties too and was continually treated with respect, sensitivity and compassion from initial GP visits in September to the end of his life.

May we thank Heacham group practice, Karen Collins, of Norfolk Hospice, Tapping House, Pete and Alan of the Ambulance Service for their very thoughtful care and advice, Dr Warren and his team at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Lynn, Geraldine and Sarah the GI nurses, for whom nothing was too much trouble, the warm and kind Macmillan nurse Emma and Leverington ward nursing team (Rhiannon you will be an excellent nurse), Maria the learning disabilities nurse, Ola, our wonderful Marie Curie nurse, who was always there and all the staff of Millbridge Nursing Home who truly helped us through those final days.

You are all amazing. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts. Where would we be without you?

J White,

on behalf of the late

Alan Wood
