Have your say

I was visiting my family in Lynn and attended the Fairytales and Legends event with my granddaughter.

The atmosphere was really positive and fun-filled, and just the sight of lots of children dressed as their favourite characters was, on its own, enough to make the day special. Although the good weather undoubtedly helped, there was plenty to do inside and the workshops that we attended with our granddaughter were really well organised, and flexible enough to include any late arrivals if there was space, which was nice. I really enjoyed the way that the events were spread over the town – it added a sense of exploration as we visited places we hadn’t even found before. I wonder if there were local people who found this to be the case too?

All in all, I thought that Fairytales and Legends was massive fun and really showcased Lynn and its lovely people to great effect. I do know, however, that it takes an awful lot of hard work to make something look so relaxed and informal, so a huge thank you to everybody who created such a lovely Sunday. I hope that they were thrilled with the result of their efforts!
