Have your say

I have just read the article by the Artful Codger (June 26), which was interesting as I have been fighting my own battle with Norfolk Green. Before they took over running our buses (I forget who ran them previously) the residents in the Hunstanton Road area of Heacham got two No 10 buses an hour which called at the hospital.

When Norfolk Green took over, we lost the No 10 and it was replaced by an hourly No 11, which took the best part of an hour to get to Lynn.

I have written to Norfolk Green on so many occasions to be told “it will be reviewed under the new timetables”. Only in the past three years have I had occasions to visit the hospital for outpatient appointments which required catching two buses to get there, no fun in the winter.

With competition from the Lynx buses (which I can’t praise highly enough) Norfolk Green removed the No 11 and added an extra No 10 to the service.

Why cannot one of these be directed along Hunstanton Road, Heacham? So Hunstanton and Heacham village have three hospital buses and we still have none.

Perhaps I will receive the usual reply “under review”.
