Re: Road crossings on the now dangerous A17, after yet another accident there.

I have been looking after road signs and lights for more than 20 years all over Norfolk, every town and every village, and also scouting at night see if there are any faults. I think it’s about time they made that area 40mph. Some years ago we had the same number of accidents along the B1145, known as Bawsey dips. The Lynn News reported many accidents over the years. Then we put up lights and Norfolk County Council made it a 50mph limit. There has not been a single accident since. It proves a slow down really works. The signs for 40mph would not cost £1 million to fit and can be installed in one day, working with flashing lights.
