Have your say

I would like to ask the borough council planning committee, the councillors, borough and town, to explain to me and all the other people who write to this paper their reason for allowing a frightening number of planning applications to go ahead.

I would like to know how many of these homes will be set aside for local first-time buyers, how they plan to improve the infrastructure to cope with more traffic, build bigger and better schools to cater for these young families and also, how they plan to expand the local doctors’ practices and the Queen Elizabeth Hospital, let alone the paramedics, ambulance and police services. I think it’s time to take off your blinkers and face reality before we implode on ourselves.
