Have your say

Oh dear, I feel depressed! I had hoped to be voting for Jo Rust as prospective MP at the next election but Jeremy Corbyn is really a step too far for me.

I have voted Labour at every election for the past 50 odd years – albeit through gritted teeth during the Michael Foot and Ed Milliband leaderships (OK, so I am a centrist Blairite!). I feel completely disenfranchised – who do I vote for? Conservatives, UKIP, Green – definitely not, and the logical alternative (Lib Dem) is in as much of a muddle as Labour at the moment. I will miss going down to my local polling station and having my usual chat with the officers who have staffed it for the past few elections. Perhaps I will have to go and just spoil my slip. At least I shall still feel I have contributed to the result.
