So, Hunstanton has been awarded more than £1 million Lottery funding to improve The Green, Esplanade Gardens and replace the Butterfly Shelters.
Let’s hope that this money will be well spent, not wasted as it was on Seagate and The Spinney.
The first thing that needs to be done is to cut down all the undergrowth along the top of the cliffs, then the people sitting on the seats and in the shelters will be able to look at the sea and the ships instead of gazing up at the sky. Once again it is the old scenario of looking after the northern end of the town and the southern end forgotten.
