Have your say

“Fraudulent”? (Lynn News, Letters, August 9) The real fraud was committed by Mr I Christie and his Labour Party cronies who pretend to represent the British working class while encouraging the mass immigration that costs them their jobs, their homes, decent schooling and health care.

He and his gang accuse Nigel Farage of lying whilst ignoring the many lies of his old Bullingdon Club pals, Dave Cameron – remember him?

And Gideon Osborn – he of the spare room tax: the threatened “punishment” budget, etc. Not to mention all those new-found friends in the civil service, the banks and the multi-nationals. Strange bedfellows for a man of the left. A less forgiving person might almost call it hypocrisy.

And how typical of these ersatz socialists that he should twist the referendum result and the meaning of democracy this way and that until it fits his own definition. Let me help him out. Democracy means – you lost, mate.

Meanwhile, may I thank Mr Cox for his excellent Jeremy Hunt joke (though I fear the last laugh may be on us). As to grass cutting – no wonder he thinks I have too many letters published – I have never written on the subject and am too old to cut even my own lawn.
