Of course my judgment may have been influenced by the wonderful treatment both my wife and myself have recently received from the local NHS professionals and at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital, but Messrs Larcey and Blundell will be sorry to learn that I support everything they say regarding the attack on the NHS by this Tory government and their sneering assassin, Jeremy Hunt.
My worry is that by striking, the junior doctors will play into the Government’s hands. They will be portrayed as the baddies while the Government’s gangster cronies in the privatised American healthcare businesses will be welcomed as the 7th Cavalry charging in to rescue us from their clutches.
The only thing I disagree with is that Jeremy Hunt is “incompetent”. From the Tory point of view he is doing a brilliant and cleverly covert job in destroying the NHS. No doubt seats in the Lords and on the board of a major private health care provider already have his name on.
