Have your say

I have just read Sarah Juggins’s piece in Tuesday’s paper and am afraid to say her facts are not quite right. It IS possible for dog poo to biodegrade after a few days in the right conditions, but it can also take up to a year. The nasty bugs however remain in the soil.

I wrote on this subject in April and agree with her that the laziness and filthiness of some dog owners is unbelievable.

It is okay to put the waste in the domestic black bin. Having six dogs I individually bag and then put it all in one carrier bag securely tied. It is a very small effort to keep our surroundings pleasant and a small price to pay for being a dog owner.
