Have your say

I am writing this letter in praise of the Queen Elizabeth Hospital.

Unfortunately, our 86-year-old father was taken seriously ill at home.

However, from the time of dialling 999, he could not have received better care.

The ambulance crew arrived quickly and were extremely efficient and reassuring.

On arrival at A&E, the transfer was again very quickly and efficiently done and the staff were excellent in their assessment and care.

MAU was also very capable and soon moved him to the most appropriate ward for his continuing care.

Our father then spent a month on Oxborough ward, receiving the best of care from everyone member of staff on the ward. Everyone was so caring, capable and efficient. They were also very reassuring to the worried family.

We would like to thank all the staff involved in Noel Sutherland’s care and our gratitude for having an NHS.
