In the Lynn News, August 7, an article was printed talking about buses from King’s Lynn to Hunstanton and how some people who use this service now have to catch two buses.
Now imagine my horror reading this when I and the rest of the people in the village where I live – which has the A134 running through it – don’t have what most people would call a bus service. Okay, we do have one bus once a day to Lynn, which starts its journey in Thetford, so sometimes there is no room. Then there is the weekly bus on a Friday morning to Downham. For people who can drive this is no problem, but those who can’t for whatever reason, are very nearly stuck. The situation is the same in most of the surrounding villages. I do hope that this knowledge can give some relief to people who have to catch two buses when they used to be able to do it in one.
