I cannot believe that the Castle Rising road is being closed and dug up yet again.

Whatever is going on there as there seems to be roadworks and traffic lights every week? The entrance to Oak Avenue was widened and then a few weeks later reverted back to its original state. And what is the purpose of a pedestrian crossing there when the nearest school is some distance away?

North Wootton village does not seem to count where traffic calming measures are concered. Many villages have flashing signs to indicate the speed of passing traffic which on occasions is horrendous. And don’t get me started how dangerous parking outside the school has become, it is surely an accident waiting to happen. It has become a nightmare trying to negotiate that road with vehicles parked as far as the Woodland Gardens junction and beyond. Come on council, we pay our council taxes as well as South Wootton.
