Have your say

I was one of the many people who read with dismay the news that the desperately-needed improvements to rail services from Lynn are to be even further delayed.

The essential infrastructure needed to facilitate the twice hourly service has been pushed back to at least 2019. It’s worth remembering that, at the same time as delays to our services are taking place, HS2 appears to be forging ahead. A report set out the loss that north west Norfolk would face if this major rail project goes through, a detriment which our MP raised concerns about. However, he still voted in favour of the service, despite knowing the constituency he represents would suffer financially. Pity he doesn’t put his efforts into campaigning for our own rail service rather than voting on one which will cause local suffering, but I guess for his needs, an hourly service is sufficient.
