Have your say

I feel I must reply to John Wiggs’ letter (February 23) regarding Lynn to King’s Cross train service.

My family and I moved to Norfolk late 60s, early 70s and have been regular train users, my brother for weekly commuting and I for holidays. In all that time we have had no complaint. Train has always left dead on time, reaching London no more than five minutes late, return service being the same.

We have only once had to use a bus replacement service and this was on a Sunday due to engineering works and we had prior warning. The only time a train was significantly late arriving at Lynn was due to a passenger suffering a heart attack – hardly the railway’s fault.

I now only use the train three times a year, but have always found it to be extremely reliable.

My only complaint would be that the early trains need to be added to and the car park made bigger.
