Through your paper, could I please say thank you to the staff of the Queen Elizabeth Hospital.

On March 26 I had to dial 999 after finding my husband collapsed in the bathroom.

Everybody from the paramedics, A and E staff, MAU, Stanhoe, SAU and Elm wards looked after him with kindness and care (also my daughter and me at times).

I hope we never have to do without the QEH. A big thank you to them all.

Mary Cook,

North Wootton
