Accident Scene on Wootton Road near to the junction of Queen Elizabeth Avenue ENGANL00120111117124910

Frequently drivers are going through the red lights at Gaywood towards Wootton Road.

Today, November 21, at 12.45pm, one driver almost hit me while I was crossing. He realised his mistake and put his hand up.

I am on that road crossing several times a week so always check and am careful while crossing. I rang the police, however, unless you have the plate number nothing can be done. It was raining hard also. It is a very badly designed crossing so near to the corner. We really need cameras on the chemist’s side of Wootton Road. Who do you complain to? No-one appears to listen until it is too late.
