I read in the Lynn News (June 3) that Sir Henry Bellingham thinks that exit from the EU will be “good news” for curry houses because it will be easier to secure visas for chefs from Bangladesh.

I hardly think this is at all valid. Is he saying there are no people here already of Bangladeshi origin that cannot cook? For starters there are many in London.

Further, is it not possible for EU citizens to cook Bangladeshi food? Perhaps Sir Henry should drop this tack and concentrate on the real issues of Brexit.
