Have your say

May I thank the person/s who, rather than handing in my items to Tesco, Hardwick, decided to take them home. I popped into Tesco on the evening of Monday, October 13, and somehow managed to leave all my hessian shopping bags on the trolley handle.

These included a Booth’s bag with a blue and yellow flower design, two bags purchased from the Eden Project by my 10-year-old daughter for my wife last Christmas, one with a chillies design and one with apricots, there was also a hand sewn patchwork fabric bag made by a friend.

There may have been a couple of other bags too.

Now I know these were of no great monetary value or sentimental value but it’s the fact that someone would just walk off with them rather than handing them into Tesco that saddens me. I now have to purchase a number of new bags, thanks to this person’s dishonesty.

The staff were very helpful and looked through the lost property but to no avail.

Of course, they could have been picked up by mistake and now that this person has realised , they may wish to return them to me, their rightful owner?
