Have your say

Anthony Bowen’s (Juggling Jim’s) farewell funeral service at Lynn Minster was amazing with the bells ringing half-muffled as people streamed into the church, which was decorated with colourful ribbons and balloons.

As Canon Chris Ivory led the procession, the music to The Entertainer was very moving. During the service, Canon Ivory spoke about how Jim loved entertaining and giving happiness to others. When Sally Beadle juggled with some Santa hats in front of the coffin, she kept dropping them and it might have been on purpose as Jim was always dropping them and it was a fun thing to do. As Jim’s coffin was brought down the aisle to the music of One Man Band, spontaneous clapping filled the church. Our town can be proud of the way they gave this tribute to Juggling Jim and we will miss him as we walk down the High Street. Coggles Funeral Services can also be proud of giving their services free. Thanks need to go to all who made this possible. The bellringers were Stephen King, David Truman and Eoin Russell, all from Gaywood church, Tony Foster, from Holme, Alan Polaine, from Dersingham, Wendy Twite, from the Minster. Peter Jackson, tower vice-captain arranged this.
