Theresa May is no different to any other Tory prime minister.
She has betrayed the people about the NHS. She said ‘What crisis?’. And she betrayed the steel workers of this country in favour of foreign imports. Tory cuts have led to a 70 per cent rise in A and E admissions. The health secretary promised the NHS £10 billion but no one has seen it. The number of hospital beds and days lost through patients being unable to leave because social care was not available through Tory cuts has soared by 70 per cent from 2012 to 2016. What crisis? Theresa May asks. Now 3,000 high street chemists could face closure with more government cuts to the tune of £321 million. That will put more pressure on GP surgeries and A and E units. It was the government who only recently told us to use the chemists to take pressure off GPs. No money for the NHS but £75 billion for Trident and £50 billion for a vanity project, HS2. We have voted to leave the EU yet she gives the French billions of pounds in contracts to supply steel for a next generation of nuclear submarines – a bribe to make Brexit easier.
