Have your say

So, our Health Secretary says the junior doctors’ strike will put patients at risk? It is the government, and mainly him, who is putting patients at risk.

He is totally incompetent, the job is too much for him. He has made the NHS toxic, no one wants to join it, many doctors and nurses are leaving. The NHS is on its knees and it’s only the goodwill and hard work of the staff keeping it going. If trying to recruit nurses is not hard enough already, they are going to change the nurses’ bursary to a personal loan which will create big debts for nurses. The Tories will pay a high price if they destroy the NHS, we all know they want to privatise it selling off the profitable parts. Billions of pounds of NHS contracts have gone to the private medicine companies already.
