Fly fishing
Narborough Trout Lakes (01760 338005): Narborough has been fishing well with several fish up to 7lbs being taken.

Sometimes the fishing has been difficult due to the fish nipping at the tail and holding on, resulting in several lost fish during the fight or at the net.

Narborough regular Mr Dines had just this problem when he hooked a large brown trout, which fought hard right up to the net.

Just at the last minute before he could net it, it slipped the hook and was gone.

Mr Dines also had a rainbow of 7.25lbs which he successfully landed.

Flies with red or orange in the dressing have worked well as have black buzzers and black gnats. Fish close to the surface.
