LOVEWELL Blake Norfolk Alliance Premier Division: Downham Town's wicketkeeper Rob King had a good day with the match-winning strike as Town go top of the table, seven points clear after two games.

King also got three victims behind the stumps during Acle's innings as Downham scraped home by one wicket.

Scores: Acle 202 for 8 wkts in 50 overs; Downham Town 203-9 in 49.2 ov.
North Runcton put up a good display as their bowlers toiled in the heat against Vauxhall Mallards in a four-wicket defeat.

Scores: Runcton 256-9 (Peter Coote 62); Mallards 259-6.
