Fakenham Town will face a battle against experienced ex-Premiership striker Gary Bull when they host Boston Town in the FA Cup Preliminary Round tomorrow.
The Ridgeons League Division One Ghosts pulled off a shock 5-3 win at Gorleston, while Boston won 5-2 at Long Melford and are sixth in the Eagle Bitter United Counties League.
West Bromwich-born forward Bull (42) played in the Premiership for Nott
m Forest, and also numbers Birmingham, Barnet and Cambridge Utd as his previous clubs.
Ghosts joint manager Stuart Woodhouse is banking on Boston being vulnerable at the back.
He said: “They’re in the equivalent of our Premier Division and have scored nine in three games, but let in five, which tells its own story.
“We’ve got nothing to lose. If we get ourselves in front, who knows? It’s the FA Cup.
“I’d like it settled on Saturday rather than have to go for a replay on Tuesday – it’s our best chance of getting through.”
Martin Fenwick and Mark Critten return from injury, but Jason Day and Carl Neale are unavailable from those who played in the midweek draw.
Danny Tanti is on holiday and Karl Pask is about to resume training after his hernia operation.

DRAWING games is catching at Lynn, with the Reserves following the first team’s suit after coming back from 2-0 down at half-time with goals from Liam Forshaw and Lee Hyde.
Reserves manager Steve Lilley said: “Lee tweaked his muscle but wanted to stay on. I knew if we would score it’d be him, as he’s got the biggest heart.
“If I had 11 Lee Hydes we wouldn’t lose games. We made three changes at half-time, but it could have been eight. We showed spirit and dug out a point.”
Tomorrow the Reserves host Harwich & Parkeston.
Lilley said: “I’ll be selecting players so that we’re difficult to beat, going back to basics.
“I don’t think our younger realise just how hard you have to work, they only do it when we’re chasing games.”
James Spittlehouse is in the reckoning. Gary Bush (ill) misses out as does Liam Forshaw (unavailable on Saturdays).
