Barney started their pre-season in stylish fashion at Beach Road.

Barney dominated the Anglian Com. Div 1 side for most of the game and deserved to run out comfortable winners in their first game as a team, goals coming from Hallgren (2), Adcock and Forge.

However the game was overshadowed by a tackle that resulted in Tony Walker breaking his leg. The club wishes him well and a speedy recovery.
