FOUR members of Lynn Ladies FC went for trials with England age group sides at the weekend.
Cheryl Ironside and Leanne Sheen were trying for the under 16 squad on Saturday, and Kerrie Stevens and Emma Woods the under 18 on Sunday at Warwick University in the midland region section. Semi-professional players, including some from Arsenal, were also there.
They and 400 other hopefuls from the Liverpool and London regional areas will not hear if they are in the respective squads of 30 until the end of July.
The quartet, in front, join winners at the club’s presentation night.
